This office holds all records of heritage sites (ie sites with archaeological relevance) Public access is by appointment. Full access is available to all records and photocopies can be purchased, price depends on material being copied. Records are now accessible via internet at www.heritagegateway.org.uk

This office holds records for Cambridgeshire and The Isle of Ely. As well as Text records it has an extensive collection of Maps(Enclosure, OS, Etc) and Aerial photographs. Photocopies may be purchased, prices depend on material copied. No appointment is necessary but readers have to register on arrival at the main reception desk, when a readers identity card will be issued which is needed for all future visits. Opening Hours: Tues-Thurs 9.00-12.45, 1.45-5.15. Frid closes 4.15. Tues evening strictly by appointment only 5.15-9.00

This national resource of over 400,000 photographs taken since 1945 is open to the public and copies of photos can be ordered, prices depend on size and colour/black-white. Photocopies also available whilst there at a nominal cost. The collection is currently being scanned and digitised and possibly may eventually be accessible via the web. But initially this will make searching and viewing easier than using the existing paper catalogues and viewing prints. Opening Hours: Mon -Thurs 9am-1pm, 2-5pm. Frid closes 4pm.
