Cambridge Archaeology Links
General Links
- Public Records Office, Kew, London
- This office is a mine of information, you just have to know how to dig it. There is plenty of help online as to the structure of the archives, but you have to visit as nothing is online. They claim that there are over a million Maps, but less than 250,000 are described in detail, and many have no catalogue entry. A rather nice appeal is made for anybody coming across uncatalogued maps to let the Curator of Maps know they exist.
